News from the Cave – what’s now / next
Now: Search by keyword for both startups and investors. At the minute this lets you search for anything in the profile of the startup or investors. Later we will parse decks and make this available for the search too, so that investors can find the gems and startups can find the right investors.
Now: Investor vetting. All new investors are being vetted to be bonafide before they are allowed to play on the platform. It is slowly ramping up, but if you signed up and still waiting – please get in touch. Investors have been generally good natured about it – thanks!

Soon!! A big data review is coming up – both startups and investors will be invited to complete some new profile stuff that we are introducing. We need this to improve the profile matching and to help startups find the most appropriate forms of help for their stage.
Next: We’re building on-platform messaging – not chat (yet). This means startups can correspond with interested investors via the platform- instead of via email. It enables us to be more effective in measuring engagement and in getting investors to respond.
